We are dependent upon this earth for life and yet we are participating in her destruction. Our mechanistic worldview silences nature, women, indigenous people, people of color, and our bodies. Because the world around us deeply impacts our experience, I am an advocate for systemic change and social and environmental justice. My work integrates the healing power of nature combined with somatics, holistic practices, experiential learning, and the arts. I draw on over 15 years of experience as a case manager, special educator, and wilderness first responder. We will utilize the resources nature provides by meeting outdoors, in parks or spaces that hold meaning for you. My approach is anti-oppressive, gentle, and straightforward. Through our relational dynamic, exploration of the wider world, mindful awareness, movement, curiosity, and engagement, we will begin to find stable ground that you can always return to.
